The Sustainable Supply Chain Transformation Project
The Working Group on the Sustainable Supply Chain comprising of procurement leads of all our businesses, is driving the adoption of the Group-level Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC) to streamline supply chain and value chain management processes across businesses. The SCoC adds five key sustainability themes to the two existing procurement objectives

POSITIIV PLUS
We have strategically adopted an online SaaS based tool ‘PositiivPlus' to enhance the supplier sustainability management, focusing on key areas such as supplier assessments, engagement, risk tracking and carbon footprint calculations.
The core benefit of PositiivPlus is its ability to centralize supplier data at both the group and individual business unit levels. This unified data structure allows the group to efficiently analyze and report on sustainability performance across all business units, ensuring accurate, data-driven decision-making.
By leveraging PositiivPlus, we at Aditya Birla Group have strengthened our ability to manage supplier-related sustainability risks, optimize carbon footprint strategies and gain deeper insights into our environmental impact. The platform has proven to be an invaluable tool, supporting the group’s ongoing sustainability initiatives and ensuring alignment with long-term corporate goals.

ABFRL
Driving Sustainable Practices with Supplier Assessments and Vendor Code
ABFRL integrates sustainability into its supply chain through supplier assessments, a vendor code of conduct, sustainable chemical management systems, and collaboration with the ZDHC Foundation. Its "Zero Waste to Landfill" initiative fosters partnerships to minimize waste across sites, suppliers, and waste management providers.
